Whale-Seeing Town

Blue Ladder

    Blue Ladder

Drummer Mitsutaka "suzzy" Takaura's solo project "Blue Ladder" has released its 1st EP, "breathlet EP."

This is the first physical release in approximately 1 year and 8 months since their 1st full album, "sofar."

Following their previous work, junchai (Fallsheeps) served as the production partner, handling co-writing, mixing, and mastering for most of the tracks.

Various musicians participated in the production of each track, with Masahiro Goto (AWSM. / Orca-Luca) on bass, Kosuke Dodo (Aahum / RED ORCA) and Masakage Ito (NELKE) on guitar, and Gon Hideaki on cello.

Furthermore, the project features Miho Onaka on piano, Natsumi (WALTZMORE) on chorus and vocal direction, and Tomohiro Odawara (ODY) on vocal recording and direction, creating a different sense of breath and atmosphere for each song.

In these times when it's difficult to imagine a bright future,
this EP explores ways of breathing that allow us to truly feel, "It's okay for me to be here," and "It's okay for me to breathe," amidst these somewhat suffocating days.

No matter how despairing we may feel, life goes on.

Instead of turning a blind eye to reality, we confront it and consider how to live on.

What do you think, living through the equally passing time?

Featuring Mitsutaka Takaura's own piano, vocals, and drums,
the EP contains 6 tracks themed around "breathing" and "life."
