NARU's solo project "What do you want?" is now available from COZY ROOM, a young crew from Osaka. This song is about the moment when you become aware of "death" and the flow of time. It is a message song that asks the audience what they want even if they will lose everything in the end.

    An R&B artist based in Osaka, Japan, NARU glides over a wide spectrum of beats-from ballads to deep house, 2-step, and Afrobeats-infusing each groove with his raw, present self. Crafting lyrics that embody the urban atmosphere, he translates subtle emotional shifts into sound with lush R&B textures and intimate vocal nuance. In March, he kicked off his continuous EP project In the Direction of Light with its first installment, Scene 1 - "Aura". His release party at Osaka PURE in May drew over 300 attendees despite being a weekday event, solidifying his position as a definitive force bringing a new wave to the Japanese R&B scene.
