"The Crepuscular Grove" is second collaboration album of Asuna and Opitope.
Opitope is unit of Tomoyoshi Date and CHihei Hatakeyama. "The Crepuscular Grove" have mellow ambient sound texture from acoustic guitar, electric guitar, analog synthesizer, piano, field recoding sound and homemade instrumens. this album has a nostalgic, idyllic, atmosphere. The harmonics of the guitar ticks Clock needle like a fairy singing voice. The sound of the waves and the sound of the wind synchronize with the deep drone sound. this ambinet sound world created by a beautiful melody and casual noises spinning from many years of career passed through unseen improvisational lives.

In 1999, ASUNA began producing the installation work and live performance that makes the side of another new meaning and value come to the surface in a specific context is produced. 'Each Organ' is his main works. Organ as the device to work through mechanical force or movement (organizations) = (electric motor) and, organ function as an independent body with a fixed set (organ) = (reeds). Organ as musical instruments achieved by actions that they connected. It is an attempt of these to measure the movement of the organ as musical instruments and the movements of the organ as the organization and the organ through the sound that changes every fixed time. Recently, ASUNA has done well the exhibition and performance of keyboards of 100 units called "100KEYBOARDS". At the same time, his other side live performance narrated works from hardcore punk / hip hop / freak folk noise / experimental onkyo / lo-fi pop / by 100 toys and casiotone, some electronics called "100TOYS". There sound production, live performance and installation works based in Kanazawa in Japan.
tomoyoshi date Born and raised in San Paulo, Brazil until the age of three. Currently resides in Tokyo, Japan. He creates acoustic and organic sounds with a little touch of digital processing, very original minimal music like a combination of the warmness of Brazil and the delicateness of Japan. After his influences from rock, jazz and post-rock music, he starts to create electronic music from 1998. In 2003, he forms the group Opitope with Chihei Hatakeyama (Kranky) and have released their highly acclaimed 1st album "Hau" (2007) , and 2nd album "Physis" (2012) on the Japanese label Spekk. Tomoyoshi also organizes the label Kualauk Table. He's profession is an ER doctor and also researches the relationship between sound and the physical body at graduate school. Chihei Hatakeyama Chihei Hatakeyama Is A Sound Artist And Musician Living On The Outskirts Of Tokyo. He Has Performed For Years Under His Given Name And Also As One Half Of The Electroacoustic Duo Opitope, Along With Tomoyoshi Date. Hatakeyama Polychromes Memory-Evoking Soundscapes With Various Recorded Materials Of Electric, Acoustic Instruments Such As Electric Guitars, Vibraphone, And Piano.
