Coming out of nowhere to burst onto the FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL '21 Rookie A GoGo stage, STAP Sigh Boys has been called everything from "neo-soul melted in a microwave," "a one man Random Access Memories (Daft Punk)" to "Mac DeMarco of Koenji."

In September 2023 he released his third album "Chord", a definitive collection of high-quality 1970's-tinged piano pop songs.

"Chord" quickly dominated the shelves of Japan's CD shops, was hyped by legendary Japanese artists such as Quruli, received considerable airplay on prominent radio shows, got playlisted on "Tokyo Highway" and, despite being relatively unknown, got as high as number 40 on the J-WAVE HOT 100 chart!

And now, just two months later, he is putting aside the piano for a burst of "Off the Wall" infused dancefloor destroying hard classic disco, with "Dancing When You're Dead"!

So, the burning question is: Is STAP Sigh Boys alive? Is he dead? Is he the angel of death?
