In late 2023, STAP Sigh Boys released the seminal album "Chord",featuring the classic disco alt-pop rock anthem "Setouchi Magnet",which rapidly ascended the J-Wave Hot 100 chart, going on to be ranked as one of 2023's best releases by Apple Music's "Tokyo Highway" (the "Zane Lowe" show of Japan).

An infectious high-octane MJ-tinged disco floor-killer "Dancing When You're Dead" soon followed, making the rounds of various editorial playlists.

Then came 2024! The groove is on, and the STAP Sigh Boys has come out with another eerie disco banger - "Light(n)ing",starting with the strike of a match, lighting a fuse which ultimately ignites the poltergeist of Daft Punk half-way through the song.

Light(n)ing evolves like a Darwinian disco mix, going from classic disco to tweeter-imploding electro-funk.
