Un nouveau départ

姫路を中心に活動するシンガーソングライターShocoの初オリジナルアルバム。
アルバムタイトルの『Un nouveau départ』は
フランス語で、和訳すると“再出発”という意味である。一時的に音楽活動を休止していた彼女が、新たな気持ちで活動再開するという気持ちや曲を聴く人の背中を押し寄り添って欲しいという想いが込められている。
4曲目の「Gravity Sad Prayer」はファンから1番人気のバラード曲でカラオケにも導入されている。
1曲目の「last sweetey」は波のサウンドから始まる愛しい人へ送るラブソング。
2曲目の「MEW」は大人の女性を猫になぞらえたミドルテンポの曲。
3曲目、5曲目はライブでしか披露していない新曲となっておりCafeサウンドで歌詞にもこだわっており、
6曲目は自分が愛されているか不安になる人達へのメッセージが込められている。
7曲目の「KIRA KIRA☆Bright」は結婚する心友のために作られた。
ラストはShocoが初めて作ったオリジナルソングで締めくくられている。
彼女自身の経験のなかでしか生まれない言葉の紡ぎ方や音を届けてくれるからこそ、ファンからの高い共感性が得られるのだろう。
今後のShocoの活動に注目したい。
