Rain continuing to fall outside the window. A shirt hanging in a cramped studio apartment, refusing to dry. The distinct scent filling the room feels exactly like the damp, lingering melancholy of my own overcast heart.

This track captures that gloomy, blue emotion everyone experiences in daily life, filtering it through a modern indie-pop sensibility. Intentionally avoiding an overcrowded arrangement, it is built simply around a lazy, drunken drum groove and a muffled electric guitar loop. It is a downer chill-out number that masterfully turns the humid, sticky atmosphere of the rainy season and inner emotional fog into something effortlessly stylish.
