SOG! is the second album by PiMC, a collection of songs that explores cleaning, parenting, menopause, loss, reconciliation, and the everyday emotions that emerge from living alongside others.
Blending funk, alternative pop, Latin influences, world music, lullabies, and dark waltzes, the album crosses genres while remaining centered on two enduring themes: daily life and human relationships.
The album includes Ill Change, a song about misunderstandings and reconciliation between partners; Luna Luna, a Spanish-language piece reflecting on the emotional and physical changes of womanhood; Papa no Soine, a humorous portrait of the challenges of putting a child to sleep; Duermete Buen Nino, a Spanish adaptation of a traditional Japanese lullaby; Salted Olives, a song about grief, regret, and sudden loss; and SOG, a playful funk track that turns cleaning into a metaphor for resetting both your room and your life.
Filled with humor and sorrow, confusion and renewal, these songs gather the scattered pieces of everyday emotions and search for a way forward.
When motivation is hard to find and life feels cluttered, SOG!
A genre-bending alternative pop album rooted in the realities of ordinary life.
