A personal song for the friends I met in Biei, and for myself.
This song was born from a workshop held in Biei, Hokkaido - a place to reclaim the emotions and identities we may have left behind somewhere along the way. Words spoken there, stories shared, and the feelings that stayed with me became the lyrics, carried by a melody that came to me one night while looking up at the starry sky in Biei.
A minimal acoustic performance gently expanded with ambient textures, leaving the raw atmosphere, breath, and noise intact.
The artwork is a piece by Tomohiro Tsuboi, a photographer who also works as a farmer in Biei. His gaze, rooted in the land of Biei, quietly overlaps with the memory of the night behind this song.

Rooted in chill guitar, he layers field recordings with electronic textures - moving back and forth between jam-driven improvisation and production - to create deeply immersive soundscapes. He runs the independent label COLORAN RECORDS, and works across disciplines through the collective art & music project "Chill in Itoshima", as well as stage/screen music and brand music. He also brings a background as a global strategy consultant specializing in entertainment, telecom, and high-tech.
