• Hoodboy TAMARI

  Born in Tokyo in 2002. Jeweler and artist. From an early age, fascinated by glittering ornaments, he would secretly open his mother's drawer just to stare at an opal ring and dream. As his family struggled with his father's debts, he witnessed neglect and the ugliness of adulthood. Yet what never disappeared were his dreams and hope. As a child, he dreamed of digging up gemstones. Later, he became captivated by the finished beauty of jewelry. He studied craft at a public technical high school, and at 18, began working for a jewelry brand, creating pieces with a small, dedicated team. Music is his diary of survival. Hip-hop and jewelry are inseparable cores of his expression. Through both, he turns adversity into proof - shining in words and in brilliance.
