Bugatti

Slay4 is a Yokohama based artist, while TAMARII is a Tokyo based jeweler and rapper.

Coming from different creative fields, the two artists came together this summer to create a new EP titled "Bugatti."

The lead track "Bugatti" and "FIFA" were produced by Nari, whose animated and refreshing sound gives both tracks a strong sense of summer. With a light and energetic atmosphere, the songs capture the impulses, playfulness, and emotions that can only be fully released through music.

Slay4 draws listeners in with his distinctive flow design, unique vocal delivery, and use of space. TAMARII brings direct and uncompromising lyrics together with a relaxed vocal style, sudden shifts in emphasis, and occasional melodic passages. The contrast between their approaches creates a dynamic that could only exist between these two artists.

The third track, "Anytime," was produced by Slay4 himself.

Built around a grand and expansive sound, the track explores an irresistible obsession with creativity. Surrounded by the noise, pressure, and restlessness of everyday life, the song captures the image of creators who continue moving forward regardless.

The artwork for this project was created by Tokyo based illustrator REN DANJO. After listening closely to the three tracks, he translated the world of the EP into a single visual. In addition to illustration, REN DANJO works across a wide range of creative fields including figure making, video production, and exhibitions.
