Eriko Matsushita
Singer-songwriter Eriko Matsushita, whose singing voice has been highly praised both in Japan and overseas, will release her first single under the name "Eriko Matsushita", "ONE SUMMER MUSIC Dear GANKE".
This is the first release in seven years since her previous album "ERIKO to." under the name ERIKO to., and it expresses the many inspirations she got from the outdoor festival GANKE FES, which she performed at Lake Kuttari and Ganke (cliff) in Shintoku Town, Hokkaido, where Ainu mythology remains.
This work, which she has only sung at live performances since 2018, will be even more fulfilling for its release in 2024. Featuring rap by FANY (From INQ.), who lives in Tokachi, Hokkaido, but whose performances are supported by many audiences, and track making by Amorphous, who is attracting attention nationwide for his activities, such as charting 14th in the R&B and Soul category on a distribution site despite being an indie artist.
The mix will be handled by Ikeda Masaki of Tatami Records, who is highly trusted by Matsushita Eriko, and will be released as a pre-release single from the full album "Dazzling" scheduled for release in 2024.
