TOKOJIKU (2022 Remastered)

The song was inspired by the activities of the many gods and goddesses in Japanese mythology. The song says that the world of Japanese mythology is always waiting for us. "TOKOJIKU" is a word coined by Ekotumi. It is inspired by the fruit of the tree of immortality in Japanese ancient book of Kojiki. "Toko" means "in anytime", "anywhere" and "eternity." "Jiku" means "central axis", "roots", and "essence". From ancient times to the present day, they are all connected on a single axis. We do not blur from the axis of our essential roots. This original Japanese word expresses one truth that we are not alone and kept alive by nature. As Ekotumi became familiar with Japanese mythology, she came to know this fact. The song is about the important things that will always remain the same, delivered cheerfully and rhythmically with a modern tune.
