    dropは2001年に東京・池袋で結成された日本のデュオです。メンバーはj（作詞作曲、ギター、ベース、ドラム、キーボード、プログラミング）とa（作詞作曲、ボーカル、ギター、ベース、キーボード、チェロ）の2人です。楽曲は主に自宅スタジオで録音され、mellotron、clavinet、solina、jupiter-8といった古い楽器にヴィンテージエフェクターのエッセンスが加えられています。
