Artist Profile

  • ReN

    ReN is a guitarist, composer and arranger currently resides in Kyoto, JPN. After he picked up the guitar at the age of fifteen, he started his career as a blues/rock guitarist. A few years later he started composition and arrangement, and then joined a japanese melodic death metal band "No Limited Spiral" as a guitarist, vocalist, composer, arranger and lyricist. ReN developed musicianship through touring with many legendary metal bands, such as AT THE GATES, ORIGIN, FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE, WINTERSUN, THE CROWN to name of few. He also works as a guitarst, composer and arranger with various bands and singers; the genres varies from prog-rock, pop, rock and metal, to anime-songs, game-music and electronic music. He has released solo instrumental material entitled as "whenever, wherever" and also works as a sound director/sound engineer when he's not on tour.
