The instrumental rock band Mask a Laid, formed in 2017, has a debut EP!
This is an easy to listen to album with an emphasis on melody, while being based on HR music, which was the main focus of each member.
A total of six songs, lasting about 20 minutes, are very dense with a variety of songs!
Guest keyboardist Yuki "Pazzy" Iraka (EARLY CROSS / ex-ANCIENT MYTH) joins the band as a guest keyboardist.
He contributes greatly to the world view of the piece!
The cover design is by "the crown jewel of the Japanese melodic/death metal world," who has been active in recent years in artwork-related fields.
Keija (Veiled in Scarlet/ex.Serpent) is in charge of recording and mixing/mastering.
Recording and mixing/mastering are done by RYU-KEN, an artist whose real name is unknown, but who is a powerhouse in the industry.
From the sound to the performance to the product packaging, there is no compromise! It's truly a spectacular debut EP!

Artist Profile

Mask a Laid
Formed in May 2017 by Johnny 13 (Gt.) and Caesar B.B. (Dr.). Remy Loki (Ba.), who was in the same band as Caesar B.B., also joined the lineup. Despite the fact that they are three technical guys, they play instrumental rock with an emphasis on melody and easy to understand song development. On April 19, 2018, they released their debut EP "Curtain Call". The band continued to play live performances, but Caesar B.B. left the band in March 2019. The following month, he announced a hiatus in activity. Johnny 13 would start his solo career under the name "Izo".
