The album title is based on the words "Hare" for special occasions such as festivals and events, and "Ke" for the rest of daily life, which represent traditional Japanese values and worldviews. The lyrics, which sing of the past and future of modern people who are torn between the everyday and the extraordinary, are colored by songs influenced by jazz and rock.
