New single "Inori (Prayer)" was written like a letter to my past self on the night before leaving the Sendai room where I lived for 13 years.
Just a week earlier, my grandmother passed away, deepening the theme of "departure."
It's a prayer not only for my own journey, but for everyone who departs-including her-that they find happiness ahead.
After years of performing it acoustically as KANTSUBAKI, it's finally a full track.
Planned as guitar + piano, but added subtle drums in mixing for warmth.
