meltseason releases their very first EP, Umi.

This EP captures everything meltseason has built since the beginning of their journey. True to their name, the project evokes a season that seems to gently melt away fragile, refreshing, and deeply emotional.

The ever-changing emotions of love are compared to the shapeless nature of the sea. Some days are calm like still waters, while others are rough and restless, with waves crashing endlessly. Through this imagery, the EP expresses the many different forms that love can take.

The lyrics are rooted in real personal experiences, giving each song a deeper emotional weight. Blending elements of pop, R&B, and electronic music, meltseason creates a sound that can resonate with many kinds of love stories while still leaving listeners with a subtle sense of hope.

The artwork was also carefully crafted. With the support of a professional calligrapher, meltseason's feelings are expressed through one simple yet powerful character.
