polyphony

When I released my previous song, neon, I received so many heartfelt reactions from people.
As I took in each and every word, I realized something important - the song I thought was "complete" when I finished writing and singing it alone in my room wasn't actually complete yet.

Maybe a song truly reaches completion only when it enters your ears and your heart - when it begins to live inside you.
The voices we put into the sound, and the voice that is born within you in response -
when they intertwine and overlap, that's when the song truly takes its first breath.

Perhaps you are the one who witnesses the very moment of a song's birth.
That thought came to me suddenly, and it led me to write this song.

My cry - and your answer.
That's what it means to deliver music, and to receive it.
The songs written by our hands are born again through you.
May this one be blessed by your voice
