Kitsunebi - Foxfire

An overture originally composed for an original musical, setting the stage for the beginning of the story.

At a quiet Inari shrine at night, an eerie and mysterious presence emerges-as if unseen fox spirits were racing through the grounds, their footsteps felt but never seen.

The music gradually expands, building tension and momentum before unfolding into a grand opening.
Blending Japanese folklore with the dramatic atmosphere of stage music, this piece evokes the mysterious world that lies just beyond the visible.

Artist Profile

    Composer, Arranger, Orchestrator, and Keyboardist. Raised in Australia during childhood, I later returned to Japan and majored in composition at university, followed by graduate studies in film music. After completing my graduate degree, I began my professional career as an assistant to Joe Hisaishi. Since then, I have been involved in a wide range of projects, including films, TV dramas, and commercials, gaining extensive experience in high-level productions. As an orchestrator and copyist, I have collaborated with composers across different generations and genres, supporting music production at the forefront of the industry. After dedicating time to raising my children, I have resumed my journey to share my own music with the world. I am currently releasing works that I have cherished over the years, including orchestral-based soundtracks and vocal tracks featuring Synthesizer V. Embracing this era where individual artists can share their music globally, I aim to reach more listeners and connect through my sound. I hope that the music I have nurtured will touch someone's heart and open the door to new worlds.
