    Around 2004 or so, Inomata started this band, playing live at Pumpkin(Kabocha-ya)in Yokosuka and Hatsudai Wall in Shinjuku. U.S Navy, who always came to see us perform in Yokosuka, cried and said,The warship I'm on is going back to the mainland, so I won't be able to see you guys anymore. To the extent that this happened, Dr. Downer was a well-received band in Navy. I have yet to see that Navy again. We also played a lot of rock festivals, but in the end we didn't have a sellout. The band continued to have fun, but a few members quit. And now in 2024, the band consists of Inomata on guitar and vocals, Hoshino on bass, Funayama on guitar, and Shomura on drums.
