Singer-songwriter Lalaleene has released a single, "Refrains of Spring - From the Bank of Yahagi River" in advance of the album she is currently working on. She wrote the lyrics based on her childhood memories of spending time by the Yahagi River in Aichi Prefecture. The song was performed by "SENTIMENTAL CITY ROMANCE" a band representing Nagoya that has been in existence for 48 years. It is a lyrical song with a sophisticated sound that invites nostalgia. The coupling song is "Remember - Cherry Blossoms at Iidabashi" one of the most popular songs from the previous album. Lalaleene and Yutaka Hosoi play accordion, and Shinya Saito plays contrabass. A new, unplugged arrangement adds sadness to this song.
