TAKAME (feat. OSAMI, Big Mike & Asiff)

Tokyo Young Vision

    I'm Ready

    Tokyo Young Vision

Tokyo Young Vision returns with its second full-length album, EDOTENSEI. Following their reactivation in 2024 and the milestone of their first-ever solo headline show last year, the Tokyo-based hip-hop crew now enters a new phase with this latest release.
The album draws a parallel between the crew's accelerating momentum and evolution, and the transformation of their hometown - from Edo to modern-day Tokyo. At the core of EDOTENSEI is the concept of "Matsuri"(festival), a form of entertainment deeply rooted in Japanese culture for centuries. Tokyo Young Vision frames their music as a contemporary manifestation of this tradition - an immersive, communal celebration delivered through sound.
The keywords "Edo to Tokyo" and "Matsuri" extend beyond the album title and jacket artwork, serving as a guiding motif that will carry forward to even larger stages ahead. Together, they symbolize a continuing journey - one that invites listeners into Tokyo Young Vision's next "festival" and beyond.
The album consists of 11 tracks. Standout cuts include the high-energy intro "OMATASE" an up-tempo banger designed to ignite anticipation from the very first moment, and the lead track "Tokyo Ondo" which embodies the album's themes of Edo heritage and festival spirit. Across the full tracklist, Tokyo Young Vision's signature diversity in sound, flow, and character is vividly showcased.
Production is handled by a lineup of talented beatmakers including Foux, resulting in a sonically polished and highly accomplished body of work that matches the crew's artistic vision.

Artist Profile

  • Tokyo Young Vision

This crew came together through cyphers at Yoyogi Park, bringing in members who originally made their names as solo artists or as part of different units. They officially kicked off their journey as a crew in 2021 with the release of their first EP, *Chawalit*. Their track "TOKIOKI," featuring OZworld and Kuja, quickly took off as one of the standout summer anthems of the year. In 2023, they stepped things up by adding three new members - Asiff (MC), Rento Nakamori, and LUKE (DJ) - joining Hideyoshi, DALU, OSAMI, Big Mike, and DJ NORIO. With this expanded lineup, they released *Chawalit Vol.2* and hit the road for their first-ever club tour as a crew. While each member continued to drop solo projects, the crew regained momentum in April 2024 with the release of "HYAKKIYAKO," launching a run of tracks featuring all MCs. Among them, "MORIAGE (Get Hyped)" stood out as a major hit, becoming a go-to track at large festivals and racking up over 2.13 million views on YouTube (as of January 2026). In January 2025, they released their first full-length album, *Tokyo Young Vision*, followed by their first one-man live show, "BIG WAVE," in August at Spotify O-EAST in Shibuya. The show sold out in advance and was a huge success. (Rento Nakamori departed from the crew following this performance.) What really sets this crew apart is their versatility - Hideyoshi, DALU, OSAMI, Big Mike, and Asiff move seamlessly between classic and more experimental styles. Every MC brings strong rap skills to the table, and with different members handling the hooks, they are able to showcase a wide range of sounds, making them a true example of a crew that is greater than the sum of its parts.
