Toriyama Sekien (Shōtoku 2 (1712) - Tenmei 8, August 23, 1788 (September 22, 1788), a painter and ukiyo-e painter of the mid-Edo period, was highly acclaimed for his yokai painting collection "Gazu Hyakkiyakō", which was published as a print in An-ei 5 (1776), and three years later, in An-ei 8 (1779), he published "Konjaku Gazu Zoku Hyakki" as a sequel. Since then, in 1780, An-ei 10 (1780) he published "Konjaku Hyakki Shūi" and in 1784 (Tenmei 4) he published "Hyakki Tsurezure Bukuro".
Although he was active near his later years, there is no doubt that he was the catalyst for the creation of many later yokai scholars (such as the late Shigeru Mizuki, Natsuhiko Kyogoku, Katsumi Tada, and Kenji Murakami).
I tried to make music on the theme of such a youkai painting book of Toriyama Sekien, so I would like you to listen to it.
The first Album of this series is "PART1[Yin]" from the drawing Gazu Hyakkiyakō. The first book of the previous trilogy is arranged in a playlist in the order in which they were recorded. It also says "PART1", but "PART 2" has not been published.
The album contains 14 tracks of "PART1 [Yin]", 22 songs of "PART1 [Yang]", and 15 songs of "PART1 [Wind]".
Please enjoy it (as in the previous game, we recommend watching with headphones or earphones on PC etc.).
