ONEsONE is a Tokyo-based international new band produced by J-WAVE navigator Chris Peppler.

Formed by China-born vocalist WANG, keyboardist/trackmaker Hideaki Sugiura, and bassist Daichi Yanagawa, the three-piece band moves freely across English, Japanese, and Chinese, creating a multilingual sound rooted in R&B, House, City Pop, UK Garage, and groove-oriented pop music.

In March 2026, ONEsONE appeared on J-WAVE and was introduced as a band produced by Chris Peppler, further drawing attention to their unique musical identity and international presence.

Their latest single, Houstep 88, is ONEsONE original take on dance music, blending House with 2step garage. The title Houstep is a coined word combining House and 2step,while 88 carries the nuance of bye bye in Chinese internet slang.

Built on a light UK garage beat, minimal urban House grooves, and an R&B-influenced vocal approach, the track tells the story of waking up from being blinded by someone, finally seeing things clearly, and coolly saying goodbye.

With a floating late-night Tokyo atmosphere and a refined beat that naturally makes the body move, Houstep 88 presents ONEsONE vision of a new form of urban dance music.
