To commemorate their 20th anniversary, i-dep will release a self-arranged piece as part of the RE: i-dep project's second installment. Titled "flowers in the park - RE: i-dep ver. -," this Tokyo Future Jazz-infused track will be available for digital release on April 24th.

As i-dep celebrates its 20th anniversary, the RE: i-dep project involves revisiting past works and rearranging them with a contemporary sensibility. Following the success of their smash hit predecessor, "choose me," this latest release reimagines "flowers in the park," originally featured in their 2007 album "Fine tuning," into a track brimming with Future Jazz vibes.

It captures the essence of seeking small moments of happiness amidst the hustle and bustle of urban life and social media, though not necessarily overflowing with tenderness. Each member's unique play style weaves together to create a sound that expresses the unparalleled journey of the new i-dep.

    In 2004, they released their debut single worldwide from Italy's IRMA RECORDS. They have participated in numerous major music festivals such as SXSW and Summer Sonic, earning high praise from music fans both domestically and internationally. In 2019, they achieved the milestone of being the first Japanese act to perform at North America's largest music festival, FEQ, where they received the FEQ Excellence Award (PRIX FEQ AWARD). Comprising Nakamura Hiroshi (PC & Key), Cana (Vo), Imura Tatsuya (Gt), Sunayama Junichi (Ba & Key), and Kano Joji (Dr), the band's roots lie in Electronic music, Jazz, Funk, and Bossa Nova. Their style, built upon these foundations, incorporates various elements to transform into a sound filled with originality.
