"The two of us"
Music & Lyrics: Keiichi Fukuoka
Sound design: Mauro Arrighi & Kumiko Mouri
Translation: Kumiko Mouri & Mauro Arrighi
The wind brings the salty scent of the sea;
I can hear the delighted voices of fairies.
The sun of the summer shines on the white terrace;
when I turned around, I found you there.
The angels laced the red thread of our fate,
I long to touch your hands, to weave you with this invisible line.
We have been repeating empty rituals wearing a mask,
but now: goodbye to such a meaningless past.
Even for a moment,
I want to paint the beatings of our hearts in your mind.
Your finger traces shapes on my skin like a feather,
it makes my heartbeats run faster; waves rush through my body.
We lose ourselves and become One, in a vortex of fleeting time.
The angels laced the red thread of our fate;
I want the two of us to make it sure more.
It is not bound just by the marriage ring;
I want to feel the present with you.
Ephemeral passionate dreams...
I want to dedicate them to your heart.
We have been repeating empty rituals wearing a mask,
but now: goodbye to such a meaningless past.
The future, as a wishful promise,
I want to dedicate it to your heart.
