世界的な胡弓の音楽家であり作曲家・二胡演奏家の王憓（Ray Wong)氏の二胡曲『岩手夜曲』に、岩手県釜石市出身の歌手・観音めぐみが作詞。
この曲は、2011.3.11震災後にRay Wong氏が岩手県を訪れ、東日本大震災を悼んで作られた曲です。
二胡を学んでいる観音めぐみに「岩手夜曲」というこの素晴らしい曲との出会いがあり、作詞のご縁をいただき、歌わせていただきました。
