WITHDOM official cover release songs, which offer a glimpse of new charms with a different approach from the original songs while utilizing the charm of the original songs, are released as the long-awaited first official cover album "Somesing else" !

The WITHDOM YouTube Channel has received more than 2.7 million views, and among them, the WITHDOM covers, which are now available to the public, are a collection of classic songs regardless of genre or age, with chorus work, vocal changes, remixes with rap, and other elements that are only possible with the vocal group's charm. Many of the videos have been viewed more than 100,000 times.

In 2020, they started "WITHDOMOVIE," a collection of captivating covers with songs and videos, and thier cover of Boyz II Men's "On Bended Knee" was featured in an Instagram story by Boyz II Men members and producer Jam, who praised thier singing ability.

The high quality of the cover, including vocal changes by the three vocalists SMOOTH, ROY, and Ryo, which is unique to the vocal group, the four-voice chorus work with rapper and chorus member SHVNYA, and the remix with SHVNYA's rap, was recognized, and from 2021 the official Digital release of the song as an official cover song with permission to release the song started in 2021.

The first official cover "A HAPPY NEW YEAR," a song by Yumi Matsutoya popular both in Japan and abroad, released on January 1, 2021. WITHDOM's cover releases of YOASOBI's "Gunjo" released in November 2021 and Tatsuro Yamashita's "RIDE ON TIME" released in July 2022 have become the talk of the town, with news coverage on websites in over a dozen foreign countries, and seventh official cover song released on June 14 Utada Hikaru's classic "First Love" was selected for the official playlist on the streaming site.

This official cover album "Somesing else" contains a total of eight songs, including songs from various genres, eras, and sounds up to the seventh official cover series, as well as "Ai" by Motohiro Hata, the first official cover Vol. 8 to be released on the album.

The meaning of the title "Something else" is to express the meaning of "Something else" as "something else" or "something exceptionally wonderful" by changing "thing" to "sing" in the song. It is a title coined by WITHDOM, with the meaning of "an exceptionally wonderful song" added after respecting the original song.

    WITHDOM is a 4-piece vocal "performance" group from Kyoto, Japan, introduced to the world by Grammy artist Boyz II Men. They are currently releasing digital singles for 12 consecutive months in 2024. WITHDOM has been highly acclaimed by artists at home and abroad, including Sota Hanamura of Da-iCE, Kaoru Kurosawa of The Gospellers, who celebrates his 30th anniversary this year as a pioneer of vocal groups, and Koushu Suzuki, a member of THE RAMPAGE from EXILE TRIBE. The vocal and chorus work by the four voices of SMOOTH, ROY, and Ryo, each with their own individuality, and rapper SHVNYA, with whom they can harmonize, sets them apart from other vocal groups.
