With poetic lyrics, a raw, straight-ahead sound, and a uniquely intense, almost screaming vocal style that pushes emotional expression to the forefront, THE RAPTOLS are a high-energy rock 'n' roll band made up entirely of members in their 20s. Unbound by trends, they channel raw, fundamental human emotions through their music.
Since 2025, the band has been releasing subscription-exclusive singles approximately every two months, with their latest track, "Laugh," marking the sixth installment in the series.
While their sound has been rooted in rock 'n' roll, incorporating elements of metal and hard rock, "Laugh" sees the band return to their roots, delivering a work that fully embraces punk rock at its core. Drawing inspiration from legendary acts like RAMONES and THE CLASH, the track is infused with subtle nods and influences throughout.
Lyrically, the song captures the inner conflict and frustration harbored by young people, especially teenagers, and serves as an anthem of defiance against the pressures of modern society.
To celebrate the release, the band will embark on a seven-date nationwide tour across Japan. The tour will culminate in a final show at Shimokitazawa SHELTER on June 10, 2026, with more releases and live performances already on the horizon.
