HIRAETH will release their new single, "frostbite.", on September 6th.

Following their previous release, "YOu And eYe," this new-generation alternative band is centered around the chaos pop genre.

This single was once again produced, including composition and lyrics, by HIRAETH frontman Haru. ENIGMA's ryme was involved in the recording.

The cover art, which has been attracting attention, was created by 3D artist GAWN-LAND, as with their previous release.

This new single centers around Haru's real-life feelings. While it could be interpreted as a heartbreak, its primary theme is mental illness.

Haru says, "The more you experience something cruel and sad, the more you can feel the beauty of a moment."

Haru's realistic lyrics, slightly different from his previous releases, create a sound that expresses a melancholic madness that is so beautiful it's almost beautiful.

A lyric video is scheduled to be released one week after the digital release.

    HIRAETH is a rock band that uses a variety of sounds to recreate a new musical world, a world that doesn't exist in reality, inside Haru's head. Formed in Aichi in January 2023, this trio features Haru (vocals), Tomoki (guitar), and Mitsuki (bass). Their musical style can be summed up simply as alternative rock. However, due to vocalist Haru's mystical and grandiose worldview and his experience listening to music from a young age across genres, they blend a variety of sounds, including loud rock, post-hardcore, metal, pop, dance music, and even trap, often used in electro and hip-hop. Their music is a hybrid that expresses a full range of human emotions, from joy and anger to sorrow and happiness, to more subtle ones.
