Just like humidity can ruin my bangs, my mood can drop surprisingly easily in everyday life. That is why this time I wanted to make a song that gets your body moving before your brain starts thinking, and that is where this sound came from. It is built on a four on the floor kick, tight hi hats that keep it running, and a gritty wall of guitars stacked on top. It has that feeling where the drive of dance music and the rough edge of rock move at the same speed. I think it is one of the easiest entry points into Sticky and Tomaty.

The title is Mitahoshii, which means I want you to see me. There are moments that sound like romance, but what I really wanted to capture is a more universal feeling, not limited to love. Wanting to be recognized, understood, noticed. Those feelings can be embarrassing, and sometimes you want to hide them, but for this song I did not want to deny them. I wanted it to leave you in a mood where you can say, that is okay, so I made it the title straight up. I also kept the sense of getting thrown off by someone s casual words, and that I cannot stop wondering feeling growing bigger and bigger.

This track also carries the atmosphere of Escaperock, a new idea about music that I created. Escaperock is not about just enduring when reality feels heavy. It is about escaping into a dream for a moment, putting your ideal into clear words, and then bringing it back into real life. Not running away forever, taking the this is how I want to be you find there and returning it to your daily life and actions. I am trying to capture that momentum and that push on your back as rock music.
