This Rei Wada's first album who lives in Miyazaki contains Bossa Nova cover which is also the root of his music. And he sings original love song poetically in life size.
The voice gently whispers and sings reaches to someone close and special
in the corner of the room at dusk.
(M-1) "In a Corner of the Distant Galaxy" starts with a comfortable sound,
(M-9) simply sings the famous Corcovado.
The album's lead song (M-10) "Disc and Letter Paper" is
succeeded in sublimating the feelings for someone who doesn't come back to the music.
The song is full of beautiful feeling which will continue to be heard as a new Japanese standard.
The album was produced by Tatsuro Yokoyama, a pianist living in Miyazaki.
In (M-1 M-7 M-8 M-10), he participated in arrangement and piano.
He composes and performs music under the theme of Japanese Neo Bossa, which consists of Japanese poetry that reflects modern moods with the traditional style bossa nova guitar. He mainly sings with classical guitar and also plays in the three-piece band YOLK.
