Ichigo Ichie is a life-sized collaboration born from a shared impulse to break out of ones shell.
EDEN KAI and Mai were originally friends, and this project came to life when Mai asked YKM, who had produced her previous songs to take part in the production.
When the three first met in person, they immediately felt a similar vibe in each other, and the creative process began naturally.
What they all shared was a desire to break free.
The song combines powerful, striking words with a warm, embracing softness, capturing the miracle of a pure, once-in-a-lifetime encounter.
That spirit inspired the title, Ichigo Ichie.
Musically, the sound is built around EDEN KAIs guitar and ukulele, elevated by YKM into a modern J-POP production.

EDEN KAI Singer-Songwriter / Guitar & Ukulele Player / Musician / Actor EDEN KAI (real name: Yusuke Aizawa / ) is a Japan-born and raised singer-songwriter, guitarist, ukulele player, musician, and actor. With millions of fans worldwide, he is recognized as a virtuoso of the ukulele and guitar, a Pop/R&B vocalist, and an accomplished performer in both music and acting. His musical style blends acoustic pop and contemporary folk, characterized by exceptional instrumental skill and emotionally expressive vocals. He actively splits his time between Japan and overseas, pursuing a global artistic career. At the age of 16, he won the Grand Prize & Best Instrumentalist at Hawaiis prestigious Brown Bags to Stardom music competition with a guitar instrumental performance of his original composition, which sparked his serious commitment to music. In 2016, he rose to international recognition with his appearance on Netflixs Terrace House: Aloha State, where his talent and sincerity captivated a global audience.
