Okayama-based rapper DAT and hip-hop duo Jari BOYS, consisting of HIGAMO and AK, will release their collaborative single "Dree Good 95" on October 2026JST.

Built around a classic boom-bap foundation, the track brings together the distinct perspectives and playful energy of three artists born in 1995. The title "Dree" is a stylized English spelling of "deree," a phrase from the Okayama dialect meaning "very" or "really." Their individual approaches to hip-hop come together through lyrics that remain direct, personal, and true to who they are.

At the core of the track is AK's human beatbox, which serves as the foundation of the entire production. Beyond creating the rhythm, AK recreates scratch sounds entirely with his voice, giving the track a raw physicality and distinctive groove. The rapping of DAT and Jari BOYS rides over that foundation, creating a tense and dynamic exchange between beatbox and microphone.

DAT and Jari BOYS first crossed paths at the Okayama event "Nightingale." Although they had never spoken before, they were struck by each other's live performances. That encounter eventually grew into a friendship and, ultimately, this collaboration.
