A miraculous resonance delivered on the milestone of his 20th debut anniversary.
Spun at an A=432Hz pitch, a new story by composer and pianist Keito Saito!
Every single note delivered directly to you like a "letter in sound." This is the long-awaited new album by Keito Saito, packed with rich resonances and stories that gently embrace the heart.
The piano used is a 1965 Hamburg Steinway (D-274), tuned to a special "A=432Hz" pitch. The 432Hz frequency, also used in the 19th-century Romantic era, resonates gentle with the humn mind and body, producing a deep, mellow, and color-rich tone.
The album features a total of 15 tracks, including:
* **"Hoshimigusa"**, a popular piece passionately requested for a CD release since its premiere in 2021;
* **"GLASS WINDOW"**, the theme song for "Minami Flying Expo 2024 Summer Edition with Mizkan," held ahead of the Osaka-Kansai Expo;
* **"Jako Nadeshiko-Carnation"**, the main theme for the 2025 film *Sozoku*, alongside film tracks such as **"The scent of Memory"**, **"HAKATA SPIRIT"**, and **"Borelo"**;
* **"Moonlight Rose"**, born from a collaboration with dance artist Kazuhiro Nishijima.
* And **"Boogie Woogie Noble,"** an essential boogie-woogie number for Keito Saito's albums.
Be sure to hold onto this special album, one that gently wraps around the listener's heart and feels as warm as something handed to you directly.
--- From the Liner Notes ---
One person's "feelings" are exchanged with another's. In that "exchange," there is the tenderness of a hand-to-hand delivery. "Feelings" are being handed over. If we read the "letters" that Keito Saito has composed through music with our hearts, we will surely be enveloped in the realistic sense of having received that music directly from his hands. (...)
The people who are precious to you. The people you can no longer meet. The people who continue to live on in your heart even if you cannot see them. As if softly speaking to those "memories" and "feelings," the music spun by Keito Saito is handed right to your heart... *Oto Tegami (Sound Letter)* is an album of precisely that kind.

--- About the Piano and Recording Studio ---
For the production of this album, a 1965 Hamburg Steinway D-274 was used, tuned to 432Hz-differing from today's global standard of 440Hz. Thanks to the understanding and cooperation of tuner Yuichi Ide and "DG CAMP AKIYA Yokosuka City" (Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture), recording in an extremely precious acoustic space was made possible. It captures without reservation the unique resonance that Keito Saito pursued with uncompromising dedication.
Furthermore, "DG CAMP AKIYA Yokosuka City" is scheduled to open as an "Artist-in-Residence Studio," carrying on the wishes of the late Ryuichi Sakamoto. Ahead of its official opening, Keito Saito-a native of Yokosuka-recorded here as its very first artist. Please enjoy this heartfelt album, delivered from a new base to the world by a composer and pianist.
