3 Pavanes: A work for solo classical guitar inspired by the works of Luis de Milán (c. 1500 - d. unknown), a 16th century Spanish Renaissance composer.
Takeshi Mochizuki, gut guitar Born in Nagoya, Japan. Studied classical guitar under Hideo Mochizuki. With his broad knowledge and flexible musicianship, he has been active as an accompanist for jazz, pop, chanson, bossa nova, Latin, ethnic music, and classical music, regardless of genre. He has earned the trust of his collaborators and music producers, and is highly regarded in various fields. In addition to live performances and concerts in Japan, Mochizuki has composed music for many plays and readings, and is actively involved in many commercials and other sound productions. He is also a lecturer at the Nagoya Music School and the music department of the Doho Gakuen High School, where he teaches younger students to improve their understanding of music, performance skills beyond genres, and musicality. He is currently promoting the concept of "ethical" in music. As for social activities, he agrees with the concept of "fair trade" and is cooperating with it through music. In May 2003, he released a CD of contemporary music works for solo guitar composed by Yoshihiko Ban-no. In March 2006, the unit "Noche & Monte" won the gold medal in the band category of the 25th Asakusa Jazz Contest. In August 2006, Noche & Monte won the Excellence Award at the "Red Brick Summer Jazz in Maizuru 2006".
