東京発! ジャズファンク・ガールズバンド、 TOKYO GROOVE JYOSHI （トーキョー・グルーヴ・ジョシ、通称：グル女) 確かなテクニックと骨太サウンド女性3ピース・バンドが繰り出す強烈なグルーヴ YouTube再生数2700万回越えのソウル/ファンク/ジャズ グルーヴバンドTOKYO GROOVE JYOSHI（通称グル女） TOKYO GROOVE JYOSHI（以下「TGJ」）は2018年に東京で結成された、セッションミュージシャンで構成される女性3人組のソウル/ファンク/ジャズグルーヴバンド 2020年のメンバーチェンジを経て、現在は、Emi（キーボード/ボーカル）、Rina（ベース/ボーカル）、MiMi（ドラム/ボーカル）のメンバーで活動しており6年目を迎えています。 音楽監督は柴田敏孝。 世界的なコロナ禍の影響で2020-2022年は活動を制限されましたが、配信ライブ、限定ライブ、YouTube番組制作、楽曲制作、レコーディングを積極的に展開。YouTubeチャンネルは、今では100本以上の動画が公開され、ミュージックビデオやバンドの日常を紹介するVlogなど、多彩なコンテンツが盛りだくさん。登録者数は89000人を突破した人気チャンネルとなっており、オリジナル楽曲「Funk No.1」のビデオは2700万回再生を超え、日本だけでなく海外のファンを増やし続けています。 TGJはオリジナル曲はもちろんのこと、70年代～80年代のジャズ、ソウル、ロックなどのカバー曲など、世代・性別・ジャンルを超えた音楽でパワフルな演奏をするライブバンドで「目黒BLUES ALLEY JAPAN」「三軒茶屋GrapeFruitMoon」「南青山gigabarTOKYO」を拠点に、定期ライブを開催。活動の場は東京にとどまらず、福岡開催の九州最大級ジャズフェス「中州ジャズ」出演をはじめ、九州、関西、広島などでもライブツアーを行っています。 海外での人気も高く、2023年には台湾の音楽フェス「Spring Wave」やシンガポール・セントーサで開催された「Jazz by the Cove」に出演。2024年、2025には3回のオーストラリアツアー、2回のラスベガスツアーを各地において大盛況。成功を収めました。 またテレビ東京系で2024年4月より放送中のアニメ「オーイ！とんぼ」のオープニング主題歌「羽ばたけ」の演奏とエンディング曲「Let’s Swing 」を担当し、10月からのセカンドシーズンでもエンディング曲「勝ちたくなっちゃったね」を担当しました。 2025年2月のBLUES ALLEY JAPANS、5月GrapeFruitMoonのソロライブがソールドアウト。６月には待望のフルアルバム「WE ARE TGJ」をリリース。世界各国でランクイン。７月に逗子サーファーズライブ、9月には中国、米国西海岸ツアー、シンガポールF1GP公演を成功させた。 2026年シーズンのコンセプトはTGJ＋FRNS。国内活動を中心に様々なアーティストやクリエイターとのコラボレーションを行なって行きます。
