Tracks 1 to 3 of this album were recorded using dummy head microphones, performed on a synthesizer system with 24-channel speakers. Tracks 4 to 6 were line-recorded using this synthesizer. Please listen to the difference in sound-image localization between the binaural and line recordings with headphones. Track 3 of the synthesizer system consists of a computer, universal serial bus (USB) audio interface, USB device, line selector, buffer, filter, and mixer. Eight front speakers, eight rear speakers, and eight left and right speakers use three mixers to move the sources of the sound. The difference from the other tracks is that a different timbre is played with a filter. In this case, a Waveform Audio File with recorded death voices and metal percussion is played back from the computer. The signal is played from eight left and right speakers via a USB audio interface and a mixer. Experimental sound creation was attempted by playing a filter output signal, a death voice, and metal percussion from 24-channel speakers.
Ichiro Tsuji was born in 1966. He started working on noise/industrial music for his band named "Dissecting Table" in Tokyo in 1986. He returned to his hometown of Hiroshima in 1998, and has been pursuing musical activities ever since. His records and compact disks have been released under the independent label of the UPD organization, and under labels in Europe and the United States. In the first and middle stage of his career he controlled the synthesizer and sampler by the sequencer, but since 2012, the works have been produced by controlling PWM signals output from a USB device on a computer. Lately the work is being made by developing an original synthesizer system.
