オーディションに何度も 何度も応募した
応募した数だけ落選し続けた
しかも通知すら来ない ほとんど無視されて
数十年待っても未だに合格通知は来ない
音楽で飯を食いたくて 音楽じゃ飯は食えなくて
何にもなかった あの頃 それでも何とか生きて来た
やっと分かったことは そういう時期を
乗り越えて 今があるということ
全部 無駄のように見えて無駄じゃなかった
一つひとつが訓練であり 練習だったんだ
落とされた全てのオーディションが
僕の実力を磨くために開催されてた
そうじゃなくても 僕にとってはそうだった
受かっても、落ちても 全部 身になることだった
全てのオーディションに手を抜かずに挑んでた
今思えば それは僕の実力を
磨くための学校だった 落ちてもいい学校だったんだ

This song was originally titled "Audition." However, I felt something was off, so I changed it to "A udition."The separation of "A" and "u" in the title has meaning."A" represents an A-rank person, and "u" represents "You." In other words, it represents the distance between the ideal person and one's current self.Also, "Au" can be read as the Japanese word "au" (to meet).By deliberately separating the letters, I expressed the frustration of "not yet being able to meet the ideal world or the ideal self."In this song, the future self looks back at the past self, reflecting on that distance and the conflict.
