First performed at Chihiro Ozawa 20th Anniversary One-Man Live in 2025, Song for Me is a deeply personal piece written as an answer to a song she created twenty years earlier.

When her major-label career came to an unexpected halt, Ozawa poured her heartbreak, loneliness, and uncertainty into a song called Secret. It became a reflection of a young artist struggling to find hope in the midst of disappointment.

Twenty years later, after continuing her musical journey, building a family, and experiencing both loss and love, she felt compelled to write a response to that younger version of herself.

Blending the warmth of gospel and soul music with the uplifting groove of Motown-inspired sounds, Song for Me is a celebration of self-acceptance, resilience, and growth. Rather than denying the pain of the past, the song embraces it as part of the journey.

The song was entirely self-produced by Ozawa, who handled the songwriting, arrangement, sound production, and visual concept development herself.
