Yohei Torii, a multi-talented DJ, beat-maker, creative director, and designer, has released a new single titled "All For You," channeling the sounds of 1990s R&B and hip-hop soul. The track features singer-songwriter A.Y.A as a guest artist, marking their second collaboration since 2018's "Rockabye feat. Bell & A.Y.A."
The release coincides with the rising popularity of Japanese R&B overseas, following the city pop trend. With its mellow synths and punchy kicks, the song reflects Yohei Torii's deep appreciation for the 1990s and 2000s sound-a key part of his musical identity.
The collaboration with A.Y.A, who is currently based in London, was produced remotely across borders. While A.Y.A has recently embraced more electronic sounds, she revisits her earlier alternative R&B and hip-hop roots in this track.
