The third release from COLORAN KORAN.JP's collective art and music project, "Chill in Itoshima", is here: "Singing Air." This project brings together artists who live in or visit Itoshima, Fukuoka, collaborating to share the area's relaxed and tranquil vibes with the world.

The theme of this release is "Fukae." Located on the western side of the Itoshima Peninsula, Nijo-Fukae is a nature-rich area where the mountains meet the sea. Its peaceful and stunning coastline has long been cherished by many. This instrumental track begins with the soothing sound of waves from Fukae's beach and builds with ambient layers of JP's PlayRoom's chill guitar, creating a relaxing and atmospheric soundscape.

The release is paired with an artwork by Itoshima-based painter Chihiro Miyata, depicting a scenic view from Fukae Beach. Together, the music and art create an experience that invites you to "return to the sea" anytime you wish.

Comment from JP's PlayRoom
"I'm truly honored to collaborate with Chihiro Miyata, whose work left a lasting impression on me even when I was first considering moving to Itoshima.

In typical art-music collaborations, the process often involves creating art inspired by music, or vice versa, or even live painting sessions. This time, however, we created our works separately, drawing inspiration from the same Fukae coastline, at different times and places.

When we finally brought our creations together, listening to the music while viewing her painting, I felt an incredible harmony, as if I were standing on Fukae's beautiful beach. I hope people around the world can feel the serene atmosphere of Fukae's coastline. And may its natural beauty be preserved for generations to come."

Comment from Chihiro Miyata
"The sea at Fukae gives a sense of calm with its gentle waves. I painted a summer sunset, where the sunlight pierced through the clouds and reflected its colors on the waves and sandy shore.

The refreshing blues of the ocean left a deep impression on me. On the beach, children ran around freely, their playful energy blending with the serene beauty of the sea.

'I am here. I am alive.'

The melody from JP's PlayRoom deepened the sense of 'self' within the painting. I hope you can feel a new side of Itoshima created by the fusion of music and art."
