Takapou will digitally release his new single "The Best is Right Here" in April 2025.

Takapou is a singer-songwriter who, in 2022, consecutively released the digital singles "Spring breeze" (Artwork: Hiroyuki Nisougi) and "Skip and love" (Artwork: Ran Tondabayashi). Alongside these releases, he has hosted his own event series "Pow," inviting a diverse range of artists beyond conventional genres, including Moto Kawabe(Mitsume), Sou Matsumoto (GOING UNDER GROUND), Hiroyuki Ohashi (manga artist), emamouse, dj bloodspot (ex. CEMETERY), and fkirts, among others, for collaborations.
His 2024 release, "I still love you" has gained international traction, charting at number 39 on Apple Music (Turkey)'s "J-Pop Top Songs."

This new track carries a message that questions the "importance of this very moment," something easily forgotten in today's uncertain world.
We hope to convey the significance of focusing on this irreplaceable "now" and living positively, especially for those of us prone to being caught up in regrets of the past or anxieties about the future.
Furthermore, to express the emotions welling up within him while living in this unpredictable era, Takapou undertook all aspects of the song's creation, including arrangement and performance, by himself.
The jacket artwork is once again handled by contemporary artist Hiroyuki Nisougi, who also worked on "Spring breeze" The mixing and mastering were done by Tadashi, a close associate.
