Yattokose (feat. Suzumeno Tears)

Remon Nakanishi, the singer who first drew widespread attention with the 2022 min'yo (Japanese traditinoal folk song) collection Hinano Iezuto and showcased a fusion of Gōshū Ondo, hip-hop, and mor lam in the 2023 12-inch double A-side jumbo single ODORI ONDO, will release his highly anticipated new track on January 30, 2026.
The new song is a rendition of the Bon song "Yattokose" from Sado Island. The track vividly combines the dynamic energy of Motown-style horn sections with a spaghetti western-inspired sound reminiscent of Ennio Morricone, bringing a fresh perspective to min'yo scene. The chorus features Suzumeno Tears. Arrangement and production are handled by Agatha (from Suzumeno Tears), as on the previous releases, while engineering is by Kohsuke Nakamura, known for his work with Yuta Orisaka and Rourourourous. The artwork is by Remon Nakanishi himself. This release marks the beginning of a five-month run of consecutive singles leading up to his second album.
