A collaborative project by singer-songwriter Chima from Sapporo and anzu, a Tokyo-based singer-songwriter, has been completed.
Following their first original track "CHUURU", they are now releasing their second song "TAIAN".
Inspired by the concept of taian-a traditionally auspicious day in Japan-the duo's collaboration over sound and words is filled with playfulness and passion. With Yusuke Oya (Polaris) on sound production, the result is a floating, chill soundscape.

An artist who not only creates music but also handles various forms of expression such as jacket artwork and video production. She began her solo unit anzu in late 2016, blending her unique chill voice with a fusion of electro and acoustic sounds in Bedroom Pop. She made her major debut on December 22, 2021, with "Bedroom Pop" from Tokuma Japan Communications. On November 12, 2023, she released the venue-limited CD "annual ring," and her latest work "ivy" will be released on November 8, 2024.
