「Vox Caprae, Acta Baphometi (ヴォックス・カプレ・アクタ・バフォメティ)」は、自由形式プロジェクトとして結成されたVox Capraeのデビュー・ミニアルバムです。国内外のアーティストが共同制作した作品になっており、「国際人」として育ったリーダーのフランコ T. ライリーの感性を表現しながら、ジャンルにとらわれない多様な音源集となっています。

Vox Caprae
Vox Caprae (ヴォックス・カプレ)は、イタリア出身のアーティスト、フランコ T. ライリーを中心とした日本に拠点を置く自由形式の音楽団。 2024年に始動したこのプロジェクトは、 日本のアンダーグランドシーンに対する不満から生まれ、どんな場所でもアウェイであることを感じて生きてきたトリリンガルのフランコの自由な表現の場として結成された。ジャンルやシーンの決まりから解放された空間を提供し、様々な背景を持った国内外のミュージシャンと交流しながら活動中。 プロジェクト名はラテン語で「山羊の声」を意味します。羊や山羊は、なぜかフランコの音楽活動において勝手に繰り返されてきたモチーフであり、彼の歌い方自体が山羊の鳴き声に例えられたこともありました。イタリア人として日本でほとんどの成人生活を過ごしてきた彼は、音楽活動でも私生活でも完全に馴染むとができない苦痛を力に変える意味で、山羊のように好奇心を持って独立して生きていく希望をVox Capraeという名前に込めている。 固定メンバーを設けず、伝えたいメッセージや作り上げたい世界観によって常に変化していくプロジェクトになっており、妥協しない音楽を届けることを最優先とし、バンド形式では実現できないヴィジョンを世界に向けて発信することを目指す。
