Blending the sounds of 1980s-1990s new wave, post-punk, grunge, and shoegaze with danceable grooves rooted in hardcore and aggressive riff work, this EP refines and elevates the signature sound that HIKAGE established on their previous release, bringing it to an even higher level of intensity and clarity.
Alongside the already released singles "human." and "tiny flower" a range of promotional activities across social media platforms are planned. The music video for the track "raw" is also set to premiere on April 1, the same day the EP is released.
Shortly after the release, HIKAGE will appear at DEAD POP FESTIVAL 2026, where Thornhill is also on the lineup. The band will also appear on LANDMVRKS' Japan tour.
Following that, HIKAGE will embark on human. TOUR 2026, a Japan tour across 15 cities. Songs from the EP will be incorporated into their live set from the tour onward, with promotional activities for the new material continuing in parallel. human. EP is set to become a defining release for HIKAGE in 2026.

Formed in May 2019 in Sapporo, Japan. HIKAGE takes the stripped-down power and explosive spirit of '80s to modern hardcore and hardcore punk, blending it with the distortion-drenched sounds of '90s grunge, alternative punk, and garage rock.
