或る飢えた蛸がその身を
喰らい千切りまだ生き続けていた
暗く狭い世界のなかで
限られた営み その果てに
朽ちて落ちる我が身を喰らってでも
命を燃やす意思 決意を持てるか
声も言葉もまるで届かない地の底でも
やがて迎える未来を掴み取れ
命が果てる日まで
水槽のなかで蛸は生きている
喰らう身体が尽きても
水槽のなかが例え伽藍堂でも
確かにそこに
誰しもが忘れても
記憶から抜け落ちても
世界中皆が唾を吐いても
揺らぐことのない夢を持てるのか
光も色彩もまるで届かない地の底でも
やがて迎える未来を掴み取れ
命が果てる日まで
ふとした弱気のなかで
恐怖に苛まれて
それでもあの蛸ならば
泥臭く意思を見せるだろうか
誰もがその在り方を
美しく思うことがなくても
不確かなことだけど
